Before starting your game of Catan, roll the dice to activate the magic.

Six Scrolls will be set aside for the entire game. Avoid looking at them to preserve the mystery.

Whenever a player rolls a 7, they may choose: use the Thief, or activate a Scroll.

If they choose the Scroll, they must roll one physical dice.

The Scroll matching the rolled number is revealed and its effect is applied immediately.
